FreezeCell™ - controlled-rate freezing containers for higher cell survival rates after thawing!

• Each FreezeCell™ consists of an alloy center and molded foam container that holds twelve 1.5/2.0mL cryovials or tubes.  Choose from hexagon, square or circle shaped containers.
• Can be used with a variety of cell lines and protocols, including stem cells, primary cells and yeast.
• Fluid-free, emission-free – no alcohol or additives required.
• Easy to use!  Insert samples into FreezeCell™, apply the lid and place in an ultra-low, -80C freezer for a minimum of three hours.  Samples will cool at -1°C per minute.  After cooling process is completed, transfer samples to an LN2 tank for long term storage.  The FreezeCell™ can be returned to room temperature (by removing lid and alloy center, then reassembling) and reused again and again.  Also useful for holding sample temperature on the benchtop.
