Histochemical substrate for ß-D-Glucuronidase. Produces blue-black water insoluble color for (GUS) gene detection. Applications include use in bacterial detection systems, e.g. E. Coli. Soluble in DMF/H2O (1:1). Allow to warm to room temperature before using. Store dry at 2-8°C.
